Grassroots Innovations Augmentation Network -North and Bhoruka Charitable Trust, announces GIAN-N & BCT Best Grassroots Innovations reporting Award – 2007
An award for best reporting of Grassroots Innovations from the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttranchal, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, NCT of Delhi and UT of Chandigarh. There will be two sets of awards, one for Print media and the other for Electronic media and the entries could be in Hindi or English or any north Indian regional language.

First prize: Rs. 50,000/-, Memento and certificate
Second Prize: Rs 30,000/-, Memento and certificate
Third Prize: Rs 10,000/-, Memento and certificate
Electronic Media
First prize: Rs. 50,000/-, Memento and certificate
Second Prize: Rs 30,000/-, Memento and certificate
Third Prize: Rs 10,000/-, Memento and certificate
How to send the Nominations?
1. The nominations can be self or by anyone who come across any piece of good reporting on the subject.
2. The nominations should be sent at the below address accompanying the cutting of the article or the CD containing the clip of the reporting along with the date of publish or telecast, the name of the news paper/ channel and a note describing, how this work merits the award. Details/ bio-data of the reporter may also be sent wherever possible.
3. The nominations should be for the reporting published or telecasted between July 1, 2006 and June 30, 2007 & should reach us by July 31, 2007. The reporting could be in English, Hindi or any regional North Indian language and should promote the grassroots innovation in some way.
